Congratulations to Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur on the fourth anniversary of The Morning Show on Australia’s 7 Network. Kylie and Larry are gifted hosts and terrific people and it’s been an honor for me to get to appear on TMS from far away NYC. (I’ll come visit one day!)

So it’s become a reality, my family can’t afford to send me to college. For the past three months my mom has been like “find a back up plan” over and over and I never listened but today it was officially decided that I can’t go to Dominican. I guess the obvious response would be going to community college but you see I live in a bad environment. I will not and cannot live another year in this house. I have no family I can live with anywhere else in the U.S. (except my grandpa in the middle of Idaho, but I prefer having electricity…) SOOOOO instead of freaking the fuck out, I’m getting creative with these “back up plans”

So far my options are:

1) stay with my former homestay family in Australia for a year and get a job to pay them at least a little to stay in their guest house

2) somehow get a job as a au pair or nanny for some family in Europe

3) Go to junior college in Mexico City?

I know, I’m crazy but honestly it’s all worth a shot.
